Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) is one of the most venerable professional groups in the industry, and they needed to get the word out about their new name: AWNY is now She Runs It.

The expanded mission of the organization is to promote women leaders not just in advertising agencies, but in media and marketing as well, in New York and across the country. We wanted to infuse the work with this expansive sense of empowerment, and assert that all women—from those just beginning their careers to those in the C-suites—all have the potential, the power, and the inherent skill to lead in bold new ways.

To that end, the print ad includes the first names of every woman on the membership roster of She Runs It beneath a snappy, empowering manifesto featuring active verbs, evoking momentum and ownership. All of this leads to the main mission of She Runs It: Paving the way for women to lead at every level of marketing and media
